The Strategic Function and the Strategist

The Business is a task, it is a function. No way it is a structure. This way there must be repaired another error that is frequent.
In accordance with its own origin, the term Business comes from the word Latin "negotium" that it means “all activity that represents profit, interest or profit for the one who executes it”.
All the managerial organizations, they are sustained by a Business, or an activity that represents them “utility, yield or benefit”. Without the existence of the Business, the proper organization does not exist.
Now then, between all the activities that the organizations take to effect, none represents major “utility, yield or benefit” that the tasks of Productive Management and Commercial Management. They perfect the Business. All rest of activities in the organization must appear to support them.
And since the organizations only produce what will be able to sell “orientation at the sales”, the Productive Management subordinates itself to the Sales management, staying the last one like the elementary function and of fund of the Business.
If the Business is the one that generates the interests Conflict between the competitors, there remains in turn explained the relation that the Conflict has with the Sales, since these explain in turn the Business.
The strategist must direct the operations that explain the Business of way of making it grow and be supported on the competitors. Case must be poured out this one to the Commercial Management.
If the Strategy is the function of the strategist and this one essentially is directed to the Commercial Management, of that time the Strategy is fundamentally a Strategy of Businesswoman faced to the Commercial Management.
With this affirmation there stay without value many conceptual structures that the Administration has developed about the Strategy. Between them especially those who try to affirm that “strategies“ exist in the organization that are not specially the Strategy of Sales, for example: financial strategies, strategies of human resources, institutional strategies, etc.

The beginning holístico proposes two paragraphs, where each one is related to a dimension different from the company, it they are
1. Beginning of Coordination: where the coordination is related to the interactions between the different units of the same level, therefore this beginning establishes that no part of an organization can be planned efficiently if it is planned in form independent from other units of the same level. This way the problems, anyone is the place where they appear, they must stuff themselves simultaneously and cooperatively from so many conference points as it is possible.
2. Beginning of integration: being understood to the integration relating to the interactions between units of the different levels. This beginning is based that the planning realized independently in any level of a system cannot be effective like the planning realized interdependently in all the levels. The solution to problems that appears in a level can manage better if the politics or the practices change into other levels.
This way the Beginning holístico arises from the combination of the beginning coordination and integration, and supports that while more parts and levels of a system are planned simultaneously and interdependently, better the results of the strategy will be.
